Three Fremantle Pilots were able to join Svitzer’s contingency training session today, working through various simulations and observing how Tugs and Tug Masters respond during emergency scenarios should they arise. Tugs are essential for safe manoeuvring of vessels in Port, so it’s vitally important for Pilots and Tug Masters to have a clear understanding and processes to effectively manage emergency situations.
